harmless. Here’s what to look for
Know the different types of birthmarks in
babies :-
STORK BITE – Fades within the first years, very common.
MONGOLIAN SPOT – A blue-grey patch,
common and harmless.
STRAWBERRY HAEMANGIOMA – A raised red
vascular mark.
PORT-WINE STAIN – Present from birth, may
need monitoring.
CAFÉ-AU-LAIT SPOT-A light brown birthmark, usually harmless.
CONGENITAL MOLE-Present from birth, worth having checked.
Most birthmarks are harmless, but any mark
that grows quickly, bleeds, or changes should always be checked by a doctor.
