Considered one of the most sacred natural manifestations associated with Vishnu, this ancient stone is worshipped by devotees who come from far and wide.
According to a report published by The Rising Nepal on 4 August 2026, the Shaligram has once again been submerged during the monsoon after the Seti Khola changed its course. Rising water levels and the altered flow have made the shrine inaccessible, leaving pilgrims unable to approach the sacred stone as they traditionally did.
For devotees, this is not merely a stone—it is a sacred presence connected with the holy Kali Gandaki, famous for naturally occurring Shaligrams.
