Hidden deep within the ancient Harishchandragad fort, the Kedareshwar Cave Temple is a remarkable shrine dedicated to Shiva.
The shrine is especially famous for its four stone pillars surrounding the Shiva Lingam.
According to local tradition, these pillars represent the four Yugas. Three are said to have fallen, while one still remains—giving rise to fascinating legends about the passage of time.
The cave remains partially filled with water, making the darshan of Kedareshwar Mahadev a truly mystical experience.
