The Government has commenced calibrated and targeted release of onions from the buffer stock to ensure adequate availability and moderate seasonal price pressures in the coming months.
Secretary, Department of Consumer Affairs, Nidhi Khare today flagged off onion vans for retail distribution from Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi for the consumers of the national capital region.
