Shree Sakshigopal Temple, Odisha

Shree Sakshigopal Temple – Where God Himself Became a Witness!
Located about 20 km from Puri, Odisha, the ancient Shree Sakshigopal (Satyabadi Gopinatha) Temple is dedicated to the divine couple Sri Krishna and Radha.

According to a beautiful legend, Gopal Himself walked as a Sakshi (witness) to uphold truth in a dispute between two Brahmins. Since then, He has been lovingly worshipped as Sakshi Gopal — the Divine Witness.

A Unique Tradition: Wheat is traditionally offered to the Lord instead of the usual rice bhog.

Special Festival – Amla Navami: On this auspicious day, devotees receive the rare darshan of Radha Rani’s sacred feet, which remain covered for the rest of the year.

When truth needed a witness, Krishna Himself came forward.
