In Tiruchirappalli, reacting to the electoral loss of former Chief Minister MK Stalin from Kolathur, actor Prakash Raj said the outcome was a major shock and called for a detailed analysis of the factors behind it, including the possible impact of the SIR exercise.
He claimed that the SIR drive had led to 16 crore people losing their voting rights.
