Former Pakistan prime minister Imran Khan underwent a medical examination inside Adiala Jail on Sunday amid renewed concerns over his health. A special medical team from the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), assisted by jail medical staff, examined the jailed PTI founder.
The check-up included assessments of Khan’s blood pressure, cholesterol and eyesight, with the medical team led by PIMS doctor Dr Arif Khan. Reports said specialists and medical staff visited the prison with equipment for the examination. The development comes after earlier court directions concerning Khan’s medical assessment and treatment.
