Hanuman Ansh: Home Minister Amit Shah meets cast as film crosses Rs.347 crore

Union Home Minister Amit Shah met the cast and makers of the spiritual drama Hanuman Ansh in New Delhi on Monday, congratulating them on the film’s remarkable theatrical run. Inspired by the life and teachings of spiritual guru Neem Karoli Baba, the movie has achieved a massive box office turnaround, grossing over ₹347 crore globally after a modest opening. Shah appreciated the team’s effort to take Neem Karoli Baba’s spiritual journey and his devotion to Lord Hanuman to the masses through cinema.

During the interaction, the Home Minister encouraged the filmmakers to continue bringing stories rooted in India’s cultural and spiritual heritage to the big screen. Director Vishal Chaturvedi, lead actor Shobhinaw Satyaa, and producer Mahaveer Jain also briefed Shah on their upcoming project RamBola, based on the life of Goswami Tulsidas.

The high-profile meeting follows earlier interactions with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis as the small-budget film continues its historic run in theaters.
