Bigg Boss 20 contestant Riti Tiwari, daughter of actor-politician Manoj Tiwari, opened up about her financial struggles inside the house. Riti said, “I didn’t have money for professional training. My father didn’t give me money.
I used to get Rs 25,000 as pocket money and it was not easy to manage a month with that. Many times I survived by eating vada pav in the morning and evening. I used to fill only Rs 500 worth diesel, just as much as needed. People think I was born with a silver spoon but I am a common person.
“She also revealed that after her parents’ divorce, her father was distant and she met him only once a year. At 18-19, she decided to spend time with him and understand him. Riti said she only got her father’s name which gives her respect everywhere, but not his wealth or fame. Manoj Tiwari had told her clearly he would not help in her career and she would have to make it on her own talent.
She added that she has seen her mother struggle and she wants to earn and grow on her own, without anyone controlling her life decisions.
