In a bizarre incident, a UK couple welcomed their baby boy in a KFC parking lot in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire.Katie Murphy, 33, was on her way to hospital when labour progressed quickly. Her partner Stephen Kirby pulled into the KFC parking lot.
He had to act as midwife and caught the baby before paramedics arrived. The couple named the baby Cody, but he has earned the nickname ‘Colonel Cody’ after KFC founder Colonel Sanders.KFC said it was honoured and sent the family merch and vouchers. The hospital staff even ordered KFC for dinner that day, the mother said.
