A remarkable group of brave individuals averted a catastrophe aboard Flydubai Flight FZ1073 after a co-pilot attempted to crash the aircraft. Captain Smit Machchhar displayed immense grit by unlocking the cockpit door despite severe stabbing injuries.
Plumber Yaniv Hayun, alongside passengers Assaf Rajuan and Zvika Manes, stormed the cockpit to pull the attacker away from the controls and overpower him using headphone cables.
Meanwhile, dentist Dr. Shota Musaev provided crucial emergency medical aid to stop Captain Machchhar’s heavy bleeding, keeping him stable until the flight safely diverted to Saudi Arabia.
