West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari has promised to implement Uniform Civil Code (UCC) within 6 months in the state. Speaking at a gathering, he said:
“After Uttarakhand and Gujarat, UCC will be implemented in West Bengal as well.
Give me six months.”He added that the government will also bring strict laws against “love jihad”, “land jihad” and forced religious conversion.
