Dhanush may be considering a political entry, but reports claiming that he has already registered a party named “Tamilaga Ezhuchi Kazhagam” have been denied by his representatives.
As of now, no political party has been officially registered by Dhanush with the Election Commission. Any announcement regarding the party name or political plans is expected to come officially at a later stage.
Meanwhile, discussions are reportedly taking place around Dhanush’s possible political plans for the 2031 Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections.
There are also reports that he could launch a political party in 2028, ahead of the 2031 elections. However, neither the 2028 launch plan nor the 2031 electoral target has been officially confirmed by Dhanush or his team.
For now, Dhanush’s political entry remains a possibility, but there is no official party announcement or electoral roadmap yet.
