Soundarya Rajinikanth is eagerly awaiting her father Rajinikanth’s return as the iconic Muthuvel Pandian in Jailer 2, calling herself a “hardcore Thalaiva fan.” The excitement comes as the father-daughter duo have projects releasing in the same month for the first time, with Soundarya serving as showrunner for Love, which premiered on Netflix India on October 1, ahead of Jailer 2’s theatrical release on October 15.
Soundarya also spoke about Rajinikanth’s awareness of social media trends, his long-standing friendship with Kamal Haasan and the possibility of a film featuring her father and Dhanush. While she said such a collaboration would depend on the script, she added that it should never be ruled out.
