Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan will appear as guests on the third episode of the popular chat show Koffee with Karan, following appearances by Salman Khan, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna.
The makers released the teaser on Saturday, in which Varun and Janhvi revealed that filmmaker Karan Johar had stopped speaking to them. Janhvi, who starred in Mili, even joked that she gained weight during the period when they were not on speaking terms.
Explaining his decision, Karan admitted, “I was hurt with both of you.” Janhvi responded, “I gained weight when we stopped talking.”
Varun then accused Karan of being overly dramatic, comparing his behaviour to Amitabh Bachchan’s character in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. “Karan, you said very dramatic stuff. You became Bachchan from K3G: ‘Main bada hoon, haq hai mera,’” he said.
Although the exact reason behind Karan’s silence remains unclear, the teaser suggests that the filmmaker and the actors have now patched things up.
