Punjabi actor and comedian Gurpreet Ghuggi has addressed allegations circulating on social media about an alleged relationship with actress Love Gill, firmly rejecting the claims as false and fabricated.
The controversy began after a Canada-based YouTuber made unverified allegations about the two actors, who previously worked together in the Punjabi film Furlow. Online rumours also claimed that a ₹5 crore settlement had been reached to keep the alleged relationship private.
In a video statement, Ghuggi described the controversy as an attempt to damage his reputation and alleged that certain individuals were paying to circulate defamatory content.
Love Gill has also denied the allegations. The controversy recently resurfaced amid discussions surrounding her appearance on Bigg Boss 20.
Neither the alleged relationship nor the related claims have been substantiated.
