Hyderabad Man Dies After Wife Allegedly Stabs Him During Domestic Dispute.
A former security guard died after his wife allegedly stabbed him in the chest with a kitchen knife during an argument at their home in Kothapet, on the outskirts of Hyderabad, on Saturday morning.
The victim, identified as Prabhakar, was reportedly at home due to health issues when a dispute broke out between him and his wife, Rajitha, at Satyanagar Colony. Police said the argument escalated, following which Rajitha allegedly attacked him with a vegetable-cutting knife.
Their daughters rushed him to a private hospital with the help of a 108 ambulance, but doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Based on a complaint filed by Prabhakar’s younger brother, Chaitanyapuri police registered a murder case and took Rajitha into custody. The body was sent to Osmania General Hospital for a postmortem, and further investigation is underway.
