DMK-BJP-AIADMK Alliance Allegedly Plotting to Topple TVK Government? MLAs Reportedly Approached Ahead of 5 By-Elections!
Tamil Nadu Law Minister CTR Nirmal Kumar has sparked a major political controversy with sensational allegations that the DMK, AIADMK and BJP are allegedly joining hands to destabilise the TVK government led by Chief Minister Vijay.
Speaking at a welfare assistance distribution event in Madurai Central, organised under MLA Musthafa’s leadership, the minister alleged that opposition parties were attempting to lure TVK MLAs with money to bring down the government.
He firmly asserted that no TVK MLA would switch sides and that the Vijay-led government would continue with the people’s support.
Madurai MLA Had Raised Similar Allegations!
This is not the first time such claims have surfaced. Two days earlier, Madurai Central MLA Musthafa had also accused the DMK and AIADMK of conspiring to destabilise the TVK government.
Why Are These Allegations Emerging Now? Three Possible Reasons:
November No-Confidence Motion?
Political circles suggest that opposition parties may be considering a no-confidence motion against the TVK government in November. With the government reportedly lacking a clear majority, allegations of attempts to attract 10–15 MLAs have intensified.
Alleged Earlier Attempts:
The minister has also referred to an earlier alleged attempt to destabilise the government soon after TVK came to power, involving allegations against Senthil Balaji and others.
Five By-Elections & Political Power Struggle:
With by-elections expected in five constituencies, including Viralimalai, a TVK victory could further strengthen the government’s position. The minister’s ongoing criticism of DMK leaders PTR and Moorthy in Madurai has also reportedly added to the political tensions.
So far, opposition parties have not issued an official response to these allegations.
