Retired Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra has been appointed as the first Chief Executive Officer of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, which oversees the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Mishra served in the Indian Air Force for nearly 40 years and retired in April 2026. He previously headed the Western Air Command and held several senior operational and command positions during his career.
Mishra was commissioned as a fighter pilot in 1986 and has more than 3,000 hours of flying experience. His career includes service during the Kargil War and a prominent role during Operation Sindoor.
