Ever since Indian fast bowler Arshdeep Singh and Samreen Kaur made their relationship public, the couple has been facing constant criticism on social media.
Tired of the repeated backlash, Samreen has now shared a post expressing her anger. Arshdeep Singh also responded with a special message in support of her.
Whenever Arshdeep travels abroad for international tours, Samreen often accompanies him. This has led to various comments and speculation about the couple on social media, with users frequently criticising them in the comments section of their posts.
Addressing the criticism, Samreen said that she and her team are blocking people who make such comments.
In an Instagram post, she wrote, “The more I see the world, the more I realise how hypocritical people on social media can be. If you keep your man private, you are accused of not being proud of him. If you show your love, you are told you are doing it for fame. If you have standards, you are labelled selfish. I have been working since I was 17, taking care of myself financially and professionally. I have travelled to more than 20 countries and have been living a happy life, with or without a relationship.”
She further wrote, “God has blessed me since childhood with the ability to afford my travels and lifestyle, and I am grateful for that. I feel incredibly lucky to have found someone I genuinely love. I don’t need to explain that to anyone. I will post about him and our relationship because that is my life. If you don’t like seeing it, feel free to leave my page. I am especially tired of seeing women put other women down. My team and I are blocking everyone who engages in such behaviour.”
Arshdeep Singh also extended his support by commenting on Samreen’s post. He wrote, “I am proud of you, baby. You are so strong. Those who are so concerned about what we should or shouldn’t do need to take a break. Live and let live. Make the internet a better place. Spread love and let love find you. God has been very kind to bless me with someone who is so understanding and full of love.”
