Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath targeted the Samajwadi Party, saying that whenever it came to power, it brought destruction to the state. He alleged that during its rule, riots, curfews and crime were rampant, with unrest breaking out ahead of festivals.
He further accused the previous government of depriving the poor of their rights, taking away employment opportunities from the youth and putting the safety of women and traders at risk.
Yogi added that there are no riots or curfews in Uttar Pradesh now and people can celebrate festivals without fear.
