90-year-old Japanese Bodybuilder Competes against Athletes Decades Younger!

At 90 years old, Japanese bodybuilder Toshisuke Kanazawa is still competing on the world stage.

He travelled to Spain to take part in the IFBB World Fitness Championships, where he competed against athletes decades younger than him in the Masters category. He did not win a medal, but he is not stopping. He now plans to compete one last time at the age of 93.

Kanazawa says he has never fallen sick in his 90 years. He credits his fitness to a traditional Japanese diet he started at the age of 50 – brown rice, natto (fermented soybeans) and miso soup.

His message to older people is simple: Stay active, stay determined, and never let age decide when you should stop.
