Woman Alleges Rs 2.5 lakhs Jewellery, Rs 25,000 Cash Stolen from Train’s First AC Coach!

A woman travelling with her child on the Anand Vihar Terminal–New Jalpaiguri Express has alleged that jewellery worth Rs 2.5 lakh and Rs 25,000 in cash were stolen from her bag in the train’s First AC coach.

The woman reportedly discovered the missing valuables when the train reached Lucknow’s Charbagh railway station.

In a viral video, she claimed that she pulled the emergency chain four times but received no assistance from railway police or the Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE). She also alleged that calls to the railway helpline went unanswered.

Following the video’s circulation, railway officials requested the Railway Protection Force (RPF) to examine the matter.

The RPF said the incident was being investigated, while the exact circumstances of the alleged theft remained unclear.
