Diwali Gift for UP Residents:CM Yogi Transfers LPG Cyclinder Subsidy Directly to Bank Accounts

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given a major Diwali gift to more than 1.89 crore families in Uttar Pradesh. The money for LPG cylinders has been transferred directly into their bank accounts ahead of Diwali. On the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the government would soon announce a major package to compensate farmers for crop losses and promote the financial empowerment of women.

At an event held at the Lok Bhawan auditorium, the Chief Minister transferred ₹1,500 crore directly into the bank accounts of eligible beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana with the press of a button.
