Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor has announced her separation from husband Gautam Hathiramani after four years of marriage, describing the experience as emotionally difficult.
The ‘Baby Doll’ singer shared the news through an Instagram Story, confirming that the couple had decided to part ways after careful consideration. She also requested privacy during this period.
Speaking about the separation, Kanika said that facing a second divorce brought grief and disappointment. She dismissed speculation about a third person being involved and rejected claims that she was unwilling to live in Lagos, where Gautam works.
Kanika and Gautam married in London in May 2022 after knowing each other for nearly 15 years.
The singer was previously married to Raj Chandok, with whom she shares three children. Their marriage ended in 2012.
