UP IAS Officer Divya Mittal Resigns After 13 Years!

UP cadre IAS officer Divya Mittal has resigned from the Indian Administrative Service after 13 years of public service.

A 2013-batch officer currently serving as Special Secretary in the Uttar Pradesh Revenue Department, Mittal reflected on her journey from IIT Delhi and IIM Bangalore to a successful finance career in London before returning to India and clearing the UPSC Civil Services Examination with All India Rank 68.

She recalled her administrative experiences in Deoria and Mirzapur, including efforts to free government land from encroachments and bring piped drinking water to a remote village after decades of waiting.

In her resignation message, Mittal said her dreams for herself had been fulfilled and that it was now time to pursue the dreams she had for the people she served.
