‘Prison Break has begun in Tamilnadu’: MK Stalin Mocks Vijay Govt after 17 Inmates Escape Jail

Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin launched a sharp attack on Chief Minister Vijay’s government after 17 prisoners escaped from a sub-jail in Theni district.
“Following Breaking Bad, Prison Break has now begun in Tamil Nadu too!” Stalin remarked sarcastically, accusing the ruling TVK government of failing to maintain law and order.
The prisoners allegedly staged a medical emergency before attacking jail guards and escaping from the Thekkampatti sub-jail on Monday night.
Stalin also referred to the recent escape of two inmates from Chennai’s Puzhal Central Prison, calling the incidents evidence of serious security lapses.
Describing the Vijay administration as “good for nothing,” the DMK chief questioned how such incidents could occur despite modern surveillance systems.
Police have recaptured several escapees and launched an intensive search for the remaining prisoners.
