US tech and AI company Innodata (Innodata India Pvt Ltd) has suddenly laid off around 550 employees in India.
According to reports, employees came to office as usual on Monday and started work. But during lunch time, their system access started getting revoked. Their laptops got logged out and official email IDs were deactivated. After that, termination messages started arriving on their personal emails.
Surprisingly, the full and final salary slips of the employees were already prepared on the company’s HR portal. The portal showed October 26 as the resignation date and last working day, while employees say they never resigned. This sudden layoff has created panic among employees.
