Types of PAIN!

Muscle, joint, and nerve pain can feel similar, but the location, sensation, and triggers may provide useful clues about what is happening in the body.

Muscle pain often feels sore, tight, or tender and may follow exercise, overuse, strain, or prolonged poor posture.

Joint pain can involve stiffness, swelling, tenderness, or discomfort during movement and may occur with injuries or conditions such as arthritis.

Nerve pain is often described as burning, tingling, electric-shock sensations, or numbness and may sometimes travel along an arm or leg.
However, these descriptions are not enough to diagnose the cause because different conditions can produce overlapping symptoms.

Pay attention to when the pain began, what makes it better or worse, and whether you notice weakness, numbness, swelling, fever, or reduced movement.

Persistent, severe, worsening, or unexplained pain deserves medical evaluation rather than self-diagnosis.

Early attention can sometimes help identify the cause and guide appropriate treatment.

Listening to your body’s signals and seeking professional advice when needed is a better approach than simply masking recurring pain.
