Baba Bhadeshwar Nath Temple is steeped in ancient legends and is believed to be a sacred place of Shiva. According to local tradition, the Shiva Lingam manifested naturally here and is said to have been worshipped by Shri Ram, Guru Vashishtha, and Ravana.
A fascinating belief is that devotees have never been able to encircle the Lingam completely with both arms. It is said that whenever someone attempts to embrace it, the Lingam mysteriously appears to become larger.
The temple is also associated with legends of the Pandavas during their exile. Known locally as Jharkhandeshwar Baba, this ancient shrine remains a cherished centre of faith and devotion.
