Former Union minister Smriti Irani became emotional while speaking about Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a recent podcast interview.
Praising Modi’s work and recalling his relationship with her late father’s generation, Irani said, “If you reached my father’s collar, it is my fault.”
She also spoke about Modi’s efforts on the Sardar Sarovar Dam project, claiming that after becoming prime minister in 2014, he secured permission to raise the dam’s height by 17 metres, benefiting millions with access to water. Irani also discussed her political journey and her return to a key organisational role in the BJP.
