India’s medal count at the Asian Games 2026 has climbed to 30 after Prachi Choudhary claimed bronze in the women’s 400m. Bahrain’s Salwa Eid Naser won gold with a Games Record time of 49.20 seconds, while Iran’s Zahra Jaree Manojan took silver.
India now has four gold, twelve silver and fourteen bronze medals overall. In other track action, Animesh Kujur advanced to the 200m final after finishing second in his semifinal, while Gulveer Singh and Yoonus Shah both qualified for the men’s 1500m final, set for Monday.
