Actor Bipasha Basu has raised concerns over the quality of a protein powder after claiming that she discovered tiny worms inside a newly opened jar. Sharing a video on her Instagram Stories, Bipasha tagged Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe and sought his intervention.
Tagging Mundhe, Bipasha wrote, “@tukaram_ias You are our only hope. So we don’t get spoilt or adulterated stuff in everything that we purchase.”
In the video, she showed what appeared to be a tiny worm on her finger and claimed that the newly opened jar of Isopure protein powder was “full of small worms.” She added, “Tiny, tiny worms. The new dabba (jar) that we opened. These are the worms, full of it.”
