6 Common Reason for Bad Breath!

Bad breath isn’t just embarrassing—it can be your body’s way of telling you something needs attention.

Persistent bad breath (also called halitosis) can happen for many reasons, and simply using mints or mouthwash may only hide the problem instead of fixing it. Common causes include poor oral hygiene, strong-smelling foods like garlic and onions, digestive issues, bacteria on the tongue, dry mouth, and smoking or tobacco use.

The good news? Most cases can be improved with healthy daily habits. Brush your teeth twice a day, floss regularly, clean your tongue, stay hydrated, limit tobacco use, and schedule routine dental checkups. If bad breath continues despite good oral care, it’s worth speaking with a dentist or healthcare professional, as it may be linked to an underlying health condition.

A fresh smile starts with a healthy mouth!  Small daily habits can make a huge difference in your confidence and overall oral health.
