Aaditya Thackeray breaks silence on Disha Salian Case

Aaditya Thackeray has broken his silence on the Disha Salian death case, saying he had never met or known the late celebrity manager. The Shiv Sena (UBT) leader made the statement after the CBI registered an FIR in the 2020 case, following directions for a fresh investigation.

Thackeray alleged that repeatedly linking his name to Salian’s death was an attempt at character assassination driven by political and personal motives. He said the official re-investigation should proceed without what he described as “malicious distractions”.

The CBI investigation follows a Bombay High Court order concerning the circumstances surrounding Salian’s death. The FIR itself names no accused, according to reports, and the allegations and circumstances are now subject to investigation.
