“Stalin Did So Much for the People of Kolathur… Yet This Happened!” – Actress Roja
The 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly election result in Kolathur has drawn attention after TVK candidate V.S. Babu defeated M.K. Stalin by 8,795 votes.
Actress Roja questioned how such a major political shift happened in a constituency that Stalin had represented for years.
She said changes in government are normal in politics, but questioned whether people had completely forgotten the work done by the previous government.
Roja also attributed Babu’s victory to the support and popularity of Vijay, saying voters may have placed their trust in Vijay and the TVK.
She further remarked that Vijay winning power in his party’s first electoral contest meant he did not have to experience the challenges of sustaining a party and its cadre after an electoral defeat.
