Kanimozhi has criticised that Tamil Nadu could be heading towards a “dark phase” if the TVK government continues in power.
Speaking in Chennai, she said women who voted believing that “Anna would protect them” are now left fearful, questioning whether even the police are available for their safety.
She claimed that 570 crime incidents have been reported over the past four months, with many allegedly involving women. She also questioned whether men can step out and return home safely.
