Imran Khan gets relief from Bombay High Court, will not leave India till next hearing

Bollywood actor Imran Khan has received temporary relief from the Bombay High Court, which put a notice directing him to leave India on hold until November 2.
The Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) had ordered Khan to leave the country by October 28 following his alleged involvement in a protest against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar in Mumbai on October 10.
Khan, a US citizen holding an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card, challenged the notice, calling it arbitrary and unconstitutional. He denied participating in the protest.
During Tuesday’s hearing, the Central government assured the court that no coercive action would be taken against the actor until the next hearing.
The court subsequently adjourned the matter to November 2, allowing Khan to remain in India while his legal challenge continues.
