‘Gyanesh Kumar has lost trust’: CJP backs INDIA Bloc’s

The CJP has extended its support to the INDIA bloc’s November 1 rally in Delhi, alleging that Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar has lost the public trust required to oversee free and fair elections.
The organisation raised concerns over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, claiming that the exercise could result in eligible voters being excluded from the electoral process.
It also demanded Kumar’s resignation, arguing that the Election Commission must maintain public confidence and ensure that every eligible citizen can exercise their voting rights.
The INDIA bloc’s planned rally at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan is expected to focus on allegations of electoral irregularities and concerns surrounding voter list revisions.
The CJP’s announcement adds another voice to the opposition-backed campaign ahead of the November 1 demonstration.
