Saattai Durai Murugan’s comments about VS Babu’s health have sparked controversy. Speaking at a Naam Tamilar Katchi public meeting, he sarcastically said that a by-election could be held in Kolathur if VS Babu dies due to old age, while adding that he prays for Babu to remain healthy.
He also said that if Sengottaiyan dies due to old age, a by-election could be held in Gobichettipalayam, but claimed that the by-election currently taking place is unnecessary.
