From LK Advani to Rekha Gupta, Who are prominent faces to get SIR notices in Delhi

Several prominent names, including former BJP leader L.K. Advani, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal, have figured among electors issued notices during the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Delhi’s electoral rolls. The notices were issued over discrepancies or mismatches identified during the verification exercise.

Other names reported in the exercise include External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, former Army chief General Upendra Dwivedi, CBI Director Praveen Sood, former deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia and former Union minister Kapil Sibal. Receiving a notice does not by itself mean that a voter has been removed from the electoral roll. Rekha Gupta’s details, for instance, were subsequently verified and cleared.
