Tamilnadu CM Vijay slams Stalin over ‘somersault bhama’ remark against TVK candidate

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and TVK chief Joseph Vijay launched a scathing attack on DMK president MK Stalin over his “Somersault Bhama” remark targeting TVK candidate Sathyabama during a campaign rally in Dharapuram. Reacting sharply on social media, Vijay termed Stalin’s comments “utterly uncivilized” and accused the DMK of indulging in body-shaming and derogatory rhetoric against a female Dalit candidate.

The row erupted after Stalin mocked Sathyabama’s political switch from the AIADMK to the TVK, prompting the ruling TVK to demand an unconditional apology from the opposition leader ahead of the upcoming assembly by-election.
