Actress Tamannaah Bhatia has opened up about her preparation for the devotional song ‘Chhathi Maiya’ from her upcoming film ‘The Vvaan’. The actress said she studied the significance and rituals of Chhath Puja as performed in Bihar and Patna before shooting.
She said she holds deep reverence for Chhath and was stunned to learn about its power, adding that she felt a deep spiritual connection with Chhathi Maiyya that she cannot put into words. The song is sung by Vishal Mishra, lyrics by Kaushal Kishore and choreographed by Chinni Prakash.
The film, also starring Sidharth Malhotra, directed by Deepak Mishra and produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, TVF and 11.11 Production, will release on September 25, 2026.
