The TVK-led alliance, comprising Congress, VCK, MDMK and IUML, has been officially named the Secular Social Justice Victory Alliance.
The coalition has positioned itself around the principles of secularism and social justice.
However, the question of who will be projected as the alliance’s Prime Ministerial candidate remains open, with Congress maintaining its support for Rahul Gandhi while discussions around TVK chief Vijay’s national role continue.
