’13-ft Pani Puri Ganpati’!

A 13-foot-tall Lord Ganesha idol crafted from over 21,000 pani puri shells has gone viral on social media during Ganesh Chaturthi.
Installed outside the Ganesh Bhel outlet on FC Road in Pune, the unique installation combines festive art with India’s favorite street snack to promote sustainability.
Created by artist Prashant Salunkhe and a team of 10 artisans over 15 days, the eco-friendly structure relies on bamboo and paper. Designed using recycled dough shells, the idol overcomes moisture challenges to deliver a creative environmental message to devotees.
