‘Restoring Global Trust’!

Two crew members suffered injuries after a commercial tanker was struck by an unknown projectile while transiting inbound through the strategic Strait of Hormuz on Monday. According to a security advisory issued by the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations, the vessel sustained minimal operational damage and continued toward its next port of call under its own power.

Military authorities have launched an investigation into the attack, while commercial ships navigating the key maritime energy corridor have been advised to exercise extreme caution.

The incident comes amid escalating tensions between Washington and Tehran, following Iran’s refusal to reopen the shipping route or return to negotiations until US demands are met. Iranian military officials recently warned that any action against Tehran would provoke targeted strikes on American assets in the region. Meanwhile, the US military continues enforcing its naval blockade in the waterway, having redirected over 100 commercial vessels as concerns grow over potential disruptions to global oil shipments.
