Rice Water How to Make it?

Rice water has been used traditionally as a homemade hair rinse and beauty treatment, but many popular claims about its benefits go beyond what current clinical research has established.

Rice contains starch and other compounds that enter the water during soaking or rinsing. Some people use this liquid on their hair because it can temporarily leave hair feeling smoother. However, strong evidence that homemade rice water significantly increases hair growth, prevents hair loss or repairs damaged hair is currently lacking.

For skin, rice-derived ingredients are found in some formulated cosmetic products, but homemade rice water has not been established as an effective facial toner or treatment for skin conditions.

Homemade preparations can become contaminated, particularly when stored for extended periods. If you choose to use rice water, prepare it hygienically, refrigerate it and discontinue use if irritation develops.

For persistent hair loss or skin concerns, evidence-based treatment and professional advice are more appropriate.
