Pakistan Summons Indian diplomat, protests killing of two people by BSF

Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Indian Chargé d’Affaires in Islamabad to register a strong protest over the killing of two individuals by the Border Security Force (BSF) along the International Border in Punjab’s Tarn Taran district.
While Pakistani authorities claimed the deceased were civilians who inadvertently crossed the border and faced “unprovoked lethal force,” Indian security officials stated that BSF sentries opened fire after three suspected intruders ignored warnings and aggressively advanced into Indian territory. Islamabad has called for a transparent investigation into the incident, adding fresh diplomatic friction to the sensitive border region.
