More than 300 protesters were detained during the CJP protest in Mumbai. Actor Imran Khan also joined the demonstration, saying he was not representing any political party but had come as a citizen to oppose restrictions on people’s movement and the suppression of their voices.
Imran Khan said he had no demands and was not associated with any organisation. He clarified that he had participated in the protest solely as a citizen living in Mumbai.
