A day after Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was acquitted in a defamation case over his 2018 remarks against Amit Shah, his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra praised his courage.
Taking to X, Priyanka said it takes immense courage, tenacity and perseverance to stand against an “onslaught of lies” and said truth can never be suppressed for long.
She was responding to Rahul’s post after acquittal where he wrote “Satyam Shivam Sundaram”, which translates to truth, goodness and beauty.
Priyanka said the court’s ruling shows that truth will ultimately prevail over political attacks, adding that this is just the beginning.
